In fact, we think that it is the MOST compliant software available.  FFLSafe was made, from the ground up, by an actual firearms attorney and an ATF compliance expert – this means that every piece of the software, not just the parts you see, has been built to meet and exceed all ATF rulings and regulations.

FFLSafe is the newest solution on the block and that’s a GREAT thing! This means that we aren’t burdened by a system that was built on old technology from years ago. Instead, FFLSafe is a state-of-the-art software solution and system that is strong and safe.

FFLSafe is a bound book for firearm business FFLs – this means that it does not work with the Type 03 collector’s FFL (non-buiness) nor the Type 06 Ammunition Manufacturer’s FFL (non-firearm).

FFLSafe does, however, work with every FFL type for firearms businesses:

• Type 01 FFL – Firearm Dealer/Gunsmith
• Type 02 FFL – Firearm Dealer/Pawnbroker
• Type 07 FFL – Firearm and Ammunition Manufacturer
• Type 08 FFL – Firearm Importer
• Type 09 FFL – Dealer of Firearms (including AP Ammo and “Desctructive Devices”)
• Type 10 FFL – Manufactuer of Firearms and Ammo (including AP Ammo and “Desctructive Devices”)
• Type 11 FFL – Importer of Firearms (including AP Ammo and “Desctructive Devices”)

This is, in part, because FFLSafe automatically checks the validity of an FFL number for every transaction with the ATF’s FFL EzCheck system and Type 03 and Type 06 FFLs are not included in that system.  Also, no firearms may be transferred to or from a Type 06 FFL (ammunition manufacturing only) and the vast majority of firearms may not be trasnfered to a Type 03 Collector’s FFL (except for “Curios and Relics).
