FFLSafe is free ATF compliance software for FFLs, and creating an account is the first step to keeping your A&D Bound Book (and using our electronic 4473) online. To create an account, you’ll need a valid FFL (Federal Firearms License).
Setup only takes a few minutes and has three parts: register, confirm your email, and set your password.
Step 1 – Registering an Account
To register an account with FFLSafe, visit our Sign Up page.
On this page, enter the email address you want associated with your account, along with your first and last name.
Before you click “Sign Up,” double-check your email address. Your temporary password will be sent there.
Step 2 – Confirming Your Email
To confirm your email address, you’ll receive an email from our system with a temporary password and a button that takes you to the FFLSafe Sign In page.
Tip
Don’t see the email after a few minutes? Check your spam or junk folder, and ask your IT team whether it was blocked. Adding emails from FFLSafe.com to your safe senders list keeps future messages from FFLSafe out of spam.
Step 3 – Setting Your Password
Sign in to your new account with your email address and the temporary password. You can use the button in the email or go straight to the Sign In page.
As soon as you sign in, you’ll be asked to set your own password to use from now on. The temporary password only confirms your email and won’t work again. If you ever forget your password later, see Resetting Password.
What’s Next
After you’ve set your password, the next step is to set up your company details. Once that’s done, you’re ready to start using your bound book.
Note
Already keeping your records in another system or on paper? Read Migrating/Switching to FFLSafe before you start entering firearms. If you get stuck at any point, our support team is happy to help.
