Searching for Customers and Firearms

There are many ways that you can search for Contacts and Firearms within FFLSafe.

You can use the following for searching and finding the Contact and Firearm Information pages:

  • Search Bar
  • Contacts Page
  • Inventory Page
  • Bound Book

Search Bar

In the navigation bar, to the right of the Bound Book page link, you’ll find the Search Bar icon.

Upon clicking on the icon, the universal search bar will appear.

In this search bar, you can enter any piece of information from a firearm, contact or transaction and the FFLSafe system will find where the search term appears in each.

You can click on any result to go straight to the contact, firearm, or transaction.

Contacts Page

On the Contacts Page, you can see all of the contacts you’ve ever done business with, you can search for them in the search bar at the top of the page, and you can even filter by contact type (FFL, individual, etc).

To learn more about managing and editing contacts, see here.

Inventory Page

On the Inventory Page, you can see all of the firearms currently in your inventory.

Unlike the contacts page, you can not see all firearms you’ve ever dealt with.

On this page, you can use the search bar at the top to find any firearm detail page where you can manage and edit the firearm.

Bound Book

Firearms and Contacts may also be searched for on the Bound Book page.

You can search and filter for numerous variables to make it easier to find what you’re looking for and you can also use the search bar at the top of the page.

Once you’ve found a firearm or contact, you can click on to the firearm’s serial number or the contact’s name to go to the respective detail page to manage, view, and edit the information.
