May 27, 2025Before you can start accepting credit cards for firearms, accessories, and services like gunsmithing or transfer fees, you must set up your merchant account inside of FFLSafe.
We try to make the process as fast and simple as possible – you’re going to navigate to the setup screen and enter your phone number. After that, the credit card company will walk you through the process and get you set up.

Navigate to Setup Screen
From your main FFLSafe dashboard, click on the “Get Started” button at the lower left of your screen.
You will be taken to the Credit Card Processing Setup page.
Enter Phone Number
The setup page will detail the process of getting setup for accepting credit cards.
You must enter your phone number and click on [CONTINUE].
Work With Credit Card Company
After submitting your phone number, you will be contacted by the credit card company to setup your merchant account – this ensures that your money makes it into your bank account.
NOTE: The entire relationship between you/your company and the credit card processing company is between you two – FFLSafe provides the mechanism to track purchases, charge at the end of dispositions/transfers, and helps to get you setup. FFLSafe never has access to any credit card details nor transaction information.
